I don't know what to do anymore, I've been dealing with this for days. says it's only available through Windows Update. This subreddit is for Remixers, the members of the kickstarter campaign, and the facebook group, as well as the general public who are interested in the OS, to discuss the Remix OS, and the ultra tablet, and remix mini. I tried searching for the driver, but the intel site Remix OS alpha for PC is free to download as of January 12, 2016. After it boots up you will have no play store, there is a link to sideload google services. After the boot logo, it will then restart and so I'm stuck with reverting back to Microsoft Display Basic Adapter so I can use my laptop. So I used the installation tool from the hacked version to install the latest release from the remix site 64 bit April 26th, RemixOSforPC64bitB2016042001. The thing about that is, I cannot boot into the system anymore. The driver in place in the device manager is now the Intel HD Graphics. I also tried booting into safe mode, installing the update manually through the C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download\Install, and the installation operation completes. I tried updating through Windows Update (as there was an update to Intel HD Graphics somehow), but everytime I do the update, my pc just reboots onto the Boot logo, then restarts. I checked my Display Adapter, and there I found out that my driver was replaced by Microsoft Basic Display Adapter. I checked the Display Settings and I found out that I'm only limited to 1024x768 resolution (as opposed to the original 1366x768). Same problem After upgrading to Windows 10, the first thing I noticed after the first boot was that my resolution was somewhat cranked up. Remix os is an operating system for computers, which is based on Android-X86, a modified version of the Android system. I cant get the resolution for 1366x768.īelow is the system details and driver details from Dxdiag. ![]() I run the windows update and through windows update, the driver shows successfully installed but still device manager shows Microsoft Basic Display Adapter installed. but after install still device manager shows Microsoft Basic Display Adapter. i tried to install Intel(R) HD Graphics 3000 which was the display before the upgrade. The driver display installed shows Microsoft Basic Display Adapter. After the upgrade i was unable to get screen resolution for 1399x768. Recently i have upgraded my OS from Windows 7 to Windows 10.
